Benvenuti a Corte Manfredi, una struttura ricettiva ricavata da un antico complesso di case a corte nel centro storico di Alessano.
In virtù della storicità dell’immobile e della volontà della proprietà di preservarne le antiche caratteristiche, tali abitazioni, oggi adibite a camere singole, presentano tutte le peculiarità di un tempo. L’ospite, quindi, ha la possibilità di “rivivere” la vita del tempo che fu, in tutte le sue sfaccettature: dal silenzio che regna nella corte e nelle piccole stanze, alla “scomodità” di alcune antiche e ripide scalette interne. Per conoscere il vero Salento bisogna aver l’ardire di sperimentarlo nella sua interezza!
In ogni modo, oggi, la struttura ricettiva è assolutamente dotata di tutti i comfort che caratterizzano una location di livello ed il nostro staff è costantemente impegnato affinché il vostro soggiorno sia all’altezza delle aspettative.
Innanzitutto la invitamo a leggere attentamente la targhetta presente in camera con le ultime istruzioni per il suo soggiorno. Welcome to Corte Manfredi, an accommodation facility created from an ancient complex of courtyard houses in the historic center of Alessano.
Due to the historicity of the place and the owner’s desire to preserve its ancient characteristics, these homes, now used as single rooms, present all the peculiarities of the past. The guest, therefore, has the opportunity to “relive” the life of times gone by, in all its facets: from the silence that reigns in the courtyard and in the small rooms, to the “inconvenience” of some ancient and steep internal stairs. To know the real Salento you must have the courage to experience it in its entirety!
In any case, today, the accommodation is absolutely equipped with all the comforts that characterize a luxury structure and our staff is constantly committed to ensuring that your stay lives up to expectations.
We invite you to carefully read the plate in your room with the latest instructions for your stay. Also scan the two QR codes contained therein with your mobile phone (welcome-book and extra); you will find all the instructions for the use of the room, the wi-fi and the costs of extras).

🇮🇹 Struttura / 🇬🇧 Structure
🇮🇹 La corte
La struttura è formata da una corte in comune a cui si accede attraverso un unico cancello (check-in ore 16:00-19:00, check-out entro ore 10:00). Nella corte si affacciano quattro camere al piano terra ed una al primo piano. Tutte le stanze sono facilmente individuabili grazie alla targhetta in ceramica posta sopra l’ingresso. In particolare, al piano terra troviamo: le camere 5A e 5B, situate alla sinistra dell’ingresso, su richiesta tra loro comunicanti; le camere 6A e 6B, situate alla destra dell’ingresso, anch’esse, su richiesta, tra loro comunicanti.
Al primo piano, invece, vi è la camera 7B raggiungibile dalla scala presente a destra nella corte, visibile già dall’ingresso; adiacente a questa vi è anche la zona living (7A), raggiungibile anche direttamente dal vico senza dover entrare nella corte. La zona living, tuttavia, è di esclusiva pertinenza degli ospiti che hanno in locazione l’intera Suite (7A+7B+cucina+terrazza).
Le eventuali colazioni si possono gustare, in base al clima, nella terrazza in comune, nella corte o nella zona living.
Nella struttura, al mattino, è sempre presente del personale a vostra disposizione per colazioni e pulizia.
🇬🇧 The courtyard
The location consists of a shared courtyard which is accessed through a single gate (check-in between 4-7 pm, check-out before 10 am). Four rooms on the ground floor and one on the first floor overlook the courtyard. All rooms are easily identifiable thanks to the ceramic plate placed above the entrance. In particular, on the ground floor we find: rooms 5A and 5B, located to the left of the entrance, communicating with each other upon request; rooms 6A and 6B, located to the right of the entrance, also communicating with each other upon request.
On the first floor, however, there is room 7B reachable from the staircase on the right in the courtyard, visible from the entrance; adjacent to this there is also the living area (7A), which can also be reached directly from the alley without having to enter the courtyard. The living area, however, is the exclusive property of guests who rent the entire Suite (7A+7B+kitchen+terrace).
Any breakfasts can be enjoyed, depending on the climate, on the shared terrace, in the courtyard or in the living area.
In the structure, in the morning, there is always staff at your disposal for breakfast and cleaning.

🇮🇹 Le camere
Un’importante raccomandazione generale per la sicurezza di tutti: una volta all’interno, è obbligatorio assicurarsi sempre di aver chiuso bene sia il cancello di ingresso nella corte della struttura sia la porta della propria camera.
L’ospite riceverà, per ogni camera, un’unica tessera magnetica che consentirà l’apertura sia del portone d’ingresso principale della corte, sia della porta della propria stanza. Una volta entrati in camera, è necessario inserire la propria scheda magnetica nell’apposito lettore per un corretto e completo funzionamento di tutti gli apparati elettrici della stanza. All’uscita dalla stanza la schedina magnetica va estratta e portata sempre con sé (senza di questa non si potrà più rientrare autonomamente nella corte e nella stanza).
In ciascuna camera, oltre ad un bagno ad uso esclusivo, troverete anche a vostra disposizione:

Il ricambio e la temperatura dell’aria nelle stanze sono gestiti e mantenuti costanti da un sistema caldo/freddo governato centralmente. La temperatura nella stanza, pertanto, è sempre confortevole e costante. L’ospite, tuttavia, potrà variarla in base alle proprie esigenze agendo manualmente sull’apposito termostato (video) presente in stanza (non vi sono, quindi, telecomandi) o chiedendo allo staff di Corte Manfredi. Si raccomanda di non lasciare aperte le finestre durante l’utilizzo di riscaldamento/condizionatori o quando si esce dalla camera. Ciò non solo per mantenere una temperatura costante ma soprattutto per ridurre l’inquinamento ambientale.
Come detto, le stanze adiacenti sono separate, oltre che da spessi muri in pietra, anche da porte con elevati standard di insonorizzazione. In ogni modo, si raccomanda agli ospiti di utilizzare volumi bassi, nel rispetto del silenzio e della quiete che regna nella struttura.
Il riassetto della camera avviene dalle 10 alle 12. Nel caso non si volesse essere disturbati, è possibile segnalarlo premendo l’apposito pulsante nel lettore della schedina magnetica vicino alla porta della camera.
Il cambio della biancheria è programmato, per i soggiorni più lunghi, ogni sette notti. Al fine di ridurre l’inquinamento ed evitare inutili sprechi di acqua, sostituiremo settimanalmente solo gli asciugamani che ci lascerete sul pavimento. È ovviamente possibile, su richiesta e a pagamento (prezzi), una sostituzione più frequente di asciugamani/accappatoi/bidet/tappeti doccia, semplicemente comunicandolo ad un membro dello staff.
🇬🇧 Rooms
An important general recommendation for everyone’s safety: once inside, it is mandatory to always make sure that you have closed both the entrance gate to the courtyard of the structure and the door to your room properly.
The guest will receive, for each room, a single magnetic card which will allow the opening of both the main entrance door of the courtyard and the door of their room. Once you enter the room, you must insert your magnetic card into the appropriate reader for correct and complete functioning of all the electrical devices in the room. When leaving the room, the magnetic card must be removed and carried with you at all times (without it you will no longer be able to re-enter the courtyard and the room independently).
In each room, in addition to a bathroom for exclusive use, you will also find at your disposal:

The exchange and temperature of the air in the rooms are managed and kept constant by a centrally governed hot/cold system. The temperature in the room, therefore, is always comfortable and constant. The guest, however, can vary it according to their needs by manually acting on the appropriate thermostat (video) in the room (there are, therefore, no remote controls) or by asking the Corte Manfredi staff. It is recommended not to leave windows open when using heating/air conditioning or when leaving the room. This not only to maintain a constant temperature but above all to reduce environmental pollution.
As mentioned, the adjacent rooms are separated not only by thick stone walls, but also by doors with high soundproofing standards. In any case, guests are recommended to use low volumes, respecting the silence and quiet that reigns in the structure.
The tidying up of the room takes place from 10 to 12. If you do not want to be disturbed, you can report it by pressing the appropriate button in the magnetic card reader near the room door.
The change of linen is scheduled, for longer stays, every seven nights. In order to reduce pollution and avoid unnecessary waste of water, we will replace weekly only the towels that you leave on the floor. It is obviously possible, upon request and for a fee (prices), to replace towels/bathrobes/bidets/shower mats more frequently, simply by communicating it to a member of staff.

🇮🇹 Le terrazze
Nella struttura sono presenti due terrazze, ciascuna dotata di un gazebo ombreggiante e morbide tende.
La terrazza superiore è di esclusiva pertinenza degli ospiti della Suite. Su questa terrazza munita di un comodo tavolo esterno e con accesso diretto dalla cucina è possibile gustare, anche a pranzo o a cena, le pietanze che gli ospiti hanno autonomamente preparato in cucina, il tutto nella privacy più assoluta.
La terrazza inferiore, invece, è nella disponibilità di tutti gli ospiti. In questa terrazza vengono solitamente servite le colazioni. La terrazza è dotata anche di una piccola vasca-piscina in cui rinfrescarsi nelle calde ore estive e una comoda pedana prendisole (solarium) per rilassarsi. Nelle ore pomeridiane è altresì possibile sedersi sulle comode poltroncine per un aperitivo pomeridiano, mentre la sera rappresenta il luogo ideale per leggere un buon libro nel più assoluto relax. Si ricorda, tuttavia, che questa terrazza e con essa i suoi servizi, sono in condivisione con tutti gli ospiti della struttura. Si invita, pertanto, ad una condivisione degli spazi nel rispetto di tutti.
🇬🇧 The terraces
There are two terraces in the structure, each equipped with a shading gazebo and soft curtains.
The upper terrace is the exclusive property of the Suite guests. On this terrace equipped with a comfortable outdoor table and with direct access from the kitchen it is possible to enjoy, even for lunch or dinner, the dishes that the guests have independently prepared in the kitchen, all in absolute privacy.
The lower terrace, instead, is available to all guests. Breakfast is usually served on this terrace. The terrace is also equipped with a small swimming pool in which to cool off in the hot summer hours and a comfortable sunbathing platform (solarium)
to relax. In the afternoon it is also possible to sit on the comfortable armchairs for an afternoon aperitif, while in the evening it represents the ideal place to read a good book in complete relaxation. Please note, however, that this terrace and its services are shared with all guests of the facility. We therefore invite you to share spaces with respect for everyone.

🇮🇹 La colazione
La colazione, solitamente, non è inclusa nel prezzo della stanza, ma è possibile aggiungerla al momento della prenotazione. Si consiglia vivamente di richiederla in anticipo (telefonicamente, via mail, on line), indicandone la tipologia prescelta: colazione light o colazione salentina dolce o colazione salentina salata ma è anche possibile aggiungerla in loco comunicando la scelta allo staff. Tuttavia, le nostre colazioni sono costituite solo da prodotti freschi da noi commissionati il giorno prima ad artigiani locali e pertanto sono solo su richiesta. Pertanto, chi prenoterà in loco potrà farlo solo per la colazione del giorno successivo.
In nessun modo sarà possibile ordinare o scegliere una tipologia di colazione il mattino per il mattino stesso perchè potrebbe essere impossibile garantirne la freschezza che intendiamo offrire ai nostri clienti.
Tra le 8:30 e le 10:00, la colazione potrà essere servita, in base alle condizioni climatiche, nella terrazza in comune, nella corte o nella zona living.
🇬🇧 The breakfast
Breakfast is usually not included in the price of the room, but it is possible to add it when booking. It is strongly recommended to request it in advance (by phone, email or online), indicating the chosen type: ligth breakfast, sweet Salento breakfast or savory Salento breakfast but it is also possible to add it on site by communicating your choice to the staff. However, our breakfasts consist only of fresh products commissioned by us the day before from local artisans and are therefore only on request. Therefore, those who book on site will only be able to do so for breakfast the following day.
In no way will it be possible to order or choose a type of breakfast in the morning for the same morning because it may be impossible to guarantee the freshness that we intend to offer to our customers.
Between 8.30 and 10.00, breakfast can be served, depending on the weather conditions, on the shared terrace, in the courtyard or in the living area.

Parcheggio
Corte Manfredi è situata nel centro storico di Alessano dove l’accesso è libero ma limitato per l’antica urbanistica delle piccole stradine del borgo. Si tratta di stretti vicoli che consentono di giungere, e solo con un’autovettura di piccole dimensioni, a pochi metri dall’ingresso della struttura. Tuttavia, non è possibile parcheggiare in prossimità dell’ingresso, se non per un rapido scarico-bagagli, in quanto il parcheggio ostruisce il passaggio di altri veicoli. Noi consigliamo vivamente di usare i parcheggi gratuiti della vicinissima piazza Mercato e di raggiungere a piedi (1-2 minuti) l’ingresso di Corte Manfredi percorrendo via Storella o via Comneno. Si ricorda che ogni lunedì mattina si tiene il mercato e pertanto è vietato parcheggiare in piazza Mercato durante queste ore. Per maggiori dettagli vedi foto e video specifici.
Percorrendo a piedi le strette stradine con antico basolato, vi garantiamo che potrete cominciare a rivivere, sin dal primo accesso a Corte Manfredi, i percorsi e le sensazioni degli antichi abitanti di Alessano.

In the structure, despite the limitations linked to the presence of ancient and thick stone dividing walls, there is a free broadband (fiber) internet connection.

Parking
Corte Manfredi is located in the historic center of Alessano where access is free but limited due to the ancient urban planning of the small streets of the village. These are narrow alleys that allow you to reach, and only with a small car, a few meters from the entrance to the structure. However, it is not possible to park near the entrance, except for quick unloading, as the parking lot obstructs the passage of other vehicles. We strongly recommend using the free car parks in the nearby Piazza Mercato and reaching the entrance to Corte Manfredi on foot (1-2 minutes) along Via Storella or Via Comneno. Please remember that the market is held every Monday morning and therefore it is forbidden to park in Piazza Mercato during these hours. For further details see specific photos and videos.
By walking along the narrow streets with ancient paving, we guarantee that you will be able to begin to relive, from the first access to Corte Manfredi, the paths and sensations of the ancient inhabitants of Alessano.

ESCURSIONE IN BARCA
Attiva solo nel periodo estivo. Una giornata nel mare cristallino di Santa Maria di Leuca, a bordo di un gozzo. Lo skipper vi guiderà alla scoperta delle grotte costiere del salento.
Ritrovo e partenza dal porto turistico di Santa Maria di Leuca. Breve navigazione durante la quale si potrà godere del panorama della costa e visitare alcune bellissime grotte. Sarà possibile anche ancorarsi per fare qualche tuffo, prendere il sole e godersi un pò di relax. TOUR IN FIAT 500
Il tour in fiat 500 prevede un percorso di circa due ore alla scoperta di alcuni caratteristici borghi nei pressi di Alessano. Inoltre, per la stessa durata, è possibile usufruire di alcune bellissime fiat 500 anche per piccoli spostamenti privati. Noi abbiamo pensato per voi a dei piccoli tour che prevedono piccole escusioni in auto e a piedi in alcuni borghi caratteristici. Ma il tour può essere totalmente personalizzato! Ad esempio: avete prenotato una visita guidata? Volete visitare Presicce o Specchia? O la bottega di un artigiano? Volete andare a mare? Potete ovviamente andarci con la vostra vettura, ma vuoi mettere la magia di farlo, ad esempio, a bordo di una mitica fiat 500 F (quella con il baffo!) del 1968? Un’esperienza che non si può assolutamente perdere..
Per chi non lo sapesse, quest’automobile nelle sue versioni più note (500 F, 500 L e 500 R) ha rappresentato il principale mezzo di trasporto degli italiani tra gli anni 50 e 70. A bordo della mitica bicilindrica sarà possibile rivivere, tra paesaggi e doppiette, la magica atmosfera che si respirava nel Salento in quegli anni. Un’esperienza davvero indimenticabile..

RUSH (PALEDDU) WORKSHOP
Rush is a natural fiber typical of Salento which, in the past, was hand-woven by women to produce commonly used objects (panari, shopping bags, fiscelle) which today have become fashionable, exclusive and very rare artefacts. The process involved several phases and ended with braiding. With this workshop you will be able to learn about this ancient art and its phases in detail, you will learn to weave and above all you will be able to create small jewels with your own hands, unique and inimitable, to wear and carry with you forever.

The fiat 500 tour includes a journey of approximately two hours to discover some characteristic villages near Alessano. Furthermore, for the same duration, it is possible to use some beautiful vintage Fiat 500s even for small private trips. We have thought of small tours for you that include small excursions by car and on foot to some characteristic villages. But the tour can be totally customized! For example: have you booked a guided tour? Do you want to visit Presicce or Specchia? Or a craftsman’s workshop? Do you want to go to the seaside? You can obviously go there with your car, but do you want to experience the magic of doing it, for example, on board a legendary 1968 Fiat 500 F (the one with the mustache!)? An experience that absolutely cannot be missed..
For those who don’t know, this car in its best-known versions (500 F, 500 L and 500 R) represented the main means of transport for Italians between the 50s and 70s. On board the legendary twin-cylinder it will be possible to relive, among landscapes and doubles, the magical atmosphere that could be felt in Salento in those years.
